Comparison of electrical activity of different brain Region in Implicit and Explicit learning of a motor skill in young girls with hot executive functions
The most important work of sports coaches and teachers is teaching movement skills, and studying in the field of movement learning has always been in search of discovering better teaching methods to help learn skills. The aim of the current research was to compare the electrical responses of different brain regions in overt and covert learning of motor skills in young girls with hot executive functions. The current research method was semi-experimental, with a pre-test and post-test design, in which 24 girls aged 12-14 were purposefully selected based on the CAGLAB test score and were placed in two groups of Implicit learning and Explicit learning. In the pre-test stage, people threw 15 darts, and at the same time, brain waves were recorded with an electroencephalography device. Then both groups underwent 60minute training sessions for five consecutive days. Each subject threw 120 shots in each session, which was done in four sets with one minute rest between sets. After finishing the exercises, on the sixth day, the memorization and transfer test was done. The results were analyzed using MATLAB, SPSS and Excel software at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the response of different parts of the nervous system in the form of brain waves in the five brain regions DLPFC, OFC, CF, Frontal, All Frontal was significant in the hidden learning method. Therefore, the skills that are learned in Implicit learning conditions are more durable over time and are more stable against mental and cognitive pressure conditions.
